They come from the Amiga community, and still support that platform, which is an added bonus.The graphics is crisp, and the soundtracks are just awesome.With regards to gameplay; its your standard shoot-em up, but well made. This style of game has been my favorite since the C64 and Amiga days.Added bonus is that they plan to remake an Amiga version.Highly recommended!. Scroll-shooters that remove your weapon when you lose a life should not exist. It's compounding a punishment when there is absolutely no need for it.Also, I don't like the tactile feel of this game. Hitting enemies with weapons is unsatisfying, as there are often no hit markers and even the basic enemies require multiple hits. Because of this, the game feels sluggish, even though the ship moves quite fast.Visuals are pretty OK, but overal I just dislike too much about this game and can't recommend it to anyone. New in this version:- MACE has been updated to the latest version of our GameEngine, which should fix some bugs on some devices.If your hardware still has problems starting MACE, please drop me a mail to mail@entwickler-x.deand attach the log file from your SaveGame folder (%UserProfile%\Saved Games\MACE) if available.- Alt+Return support to switch between sindow and full screen mode.- Enemy movement is now much smoother due to better interpolation between formation points.- Support of DInput devices, if they don't support XInput, e.g. finally the Speedlink Competition Pro USB works now yeah :D
